City of Maitland's Touch a Truck

Bring the kids for an amazing day of really big trucks and really big fun at Maitland's Touch a Truck event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, May 18, in Independence Square, 1776 Independence Lane.
Games, prizes, bounce houses, live music and more.
Get an up-close look at the Public Works Department machines that make the city work. Climb into a dump truck, explore a street sweeper, backhoe, airboat and bucket truck.
The Maitland Police Department will bring its armored vehicle, police boat and other vehicles. Officers will provide free children’s bicycle helmets with fittings while supplies last.
The Fire Department will have a beefy engine pumper truck on display. Check out the Waste Pro garbage hauler.
This event will coincide with Maitland's weekly Farmer's Market on Independence Lane. Admission is free.
While at the event, visit some of Maitland’s great downtown businesses including Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream, Houndstooth Kitchen and Eatery, Boku Sushi, Brewlando Maitland, Starbucks and Parea Greek Taverna.
