SUMMER READING: Color your world with knowledge this summer at the library!
As the school year comes to a close, Seminole County Libraries encourages young readers to stay engaged with reading by exploring books and genres they enjoy.
Children, teens, and adults can join on weekly summer reading challenges and earn badges for completing them. Participants can receive a free book at any of the five library branches just for signing up.

2025 Reading Challenge

Love books? Want to spark your child’s joy for reading? Dive into our first-ever, year-long reading challenge! Participants will enjoy exciting adventures, win prizes and uncover the magic of stories as they journey through the world of books. As readers progress through the challenge they will be awarded small prizes.

30 Books | Ages 13 - 17
