Opened in September of 2021, the Sculpture House is a gallery dedicated to the creation and exhibition of 3D, experimental, and installation art. Exhibitions rotate on a quarterly basis. The space also functions as a residency for working artists to utilize as a studio and exhibition space. Artists Barbara Sorensen, Brooks Dierdorff, and Shannon Rae Lindsey have each worked in the house as artists-in-residence since the Sculpture House opened.
The house is a renovated ranch style, mid-century home, adorned with a colorful mural designed by artist Claire Lavin and installed with the help of local seniors, artists, employees of the city, and the Florida Sculptors Guild (FSG).
Illuminated in the carport is the work of artist Marla E. Six painted plexiglass panels are backlit and glow bright in the night, drawing people close to see the warm beauty.
