The Avian Reconditioning Center is a not for profit birds of prey rehabilitation and education facility. One of our main focuses is the physical reconditioning of raptors that have been inactive for an extended period of time while recovering from illness or injury. Education is a primary focus as well and we provide many education opportunities using live birds of prey.
The Avian Reconditioning Center is open to the public on Saturdays, 10am to 4pm, weather permitting.
Our resident raptors are on display under the education pavilion and volunteers are always eager to share their knowledge of these fascinating birds with visitors. Depending on the day's conditions, flight demonstrations featuring falcons and hawks take place throughout the day.
Admission is free, but donations are accepted & needed!
