Altamonte Springs Special Needs Recreation, in partnership with the Advisory Board for the Disabled, Inc., provides social and recreational activities at a minimal cost to individuals with mental or physical disabilities, ages 13 and up in Altamonte Springs and surrounding communities.
An individual is considered a “general” participant if they can independently feed themselves, self-reliantly use the restroom and can function in a group setting. If assistance is required for these tasks, then the individual is considered an “assisted” participant and an assistant (i.e., family member, caretaker) is required to accompany them at all times.
A current participant membership form is required in order to register and participate in any of our programs. Financial assistance is available for all programs.
