We’re pump-kin up the fun at the City Library! Kids ages 5 to 12 are invited to join this smash-hit series of free events that’s sure to be a gourd-geous good time. From squash-ing together gooey slime to crafting vine-tastic orange creations, it’s the perfect way to carve out some fall fun. Join us and enjoy the STEM-inspired excitement.
Pumpkin Slime & Bookmarks | October 15
Do you like ooey and gooey things? Learn how to create pumpkin slime and decorate your very own pumpkin bookmark or ornament.
Levitating Pumpkins & 3D Pumpkins | October 22
Can you make a pumpkin float in the air? Find out in this STEM challenge. We will also test your abilities at making your own paper 3D pumpkin.
Erupting Pumpkins & Pumpkin Guts | October 29
Enjoy a pumpkin volcano science experiment along with a craft with pumpkin seeds and paper plates.
Note: To participate in this program, a signed City waiver is required. For participants ages 0 to 17, a parent or guardian must review, sign and submit the completed waiver at the event. Waivers are available at the Library or by clicking the link below. Once submitted, the waiver is kept on file and does not need to be resubmitted.
