Cooperative School at Northland

The Cooperative School at Northland strives to lay a foundation that allows children to grow and develop in “wisdom, stature and favor with God and man” (Luke 2:52) acting as a resource for parents as they “train up a child in the way he should go.” (Proverbs 22:6) In light of this philosophy, the Cooperative School encourages parents to be classroom helpers to set the stage for their continued involvement in their children’s education. Cooperating in the classroom exposes parents to the capabilities of many children thereby gaining a unique perspective on their own child. The school seeks to promote community, provide accountability and minister to parents as well as children.

Our Preschool program welcomes families into a play-based, gentle learning environment where little ones, ages 2 through VPK, feel safe, seen, and excited to explore.

Kindergarten
Featuring small class sizes, individualized reading programs, a discovery-based environment, and plenty of hands-on learning, our Kindergarten program truly sets students up for future success.

Elementary
As part of the Cooperative School at Northland, the program features a strong parent participation commitment. Fridays offer opportunities for parents and children to work on assigned activities or attend class field trips together.

Our elementary program (1st-3rd grade) is a hybrid learning model that blends structured classroom experiences with built-in learning flexibility and involvement for families.
Class on-campus 4 days a week — Monday thru Thursday

At-home days are Fridays. As homeschool families, our students are encouraged to work on assigned activities, attend school-led field trips, and to explore interest-led learning opportunities.
