Adopt a Park Program

Interested in demonstrating community pride and making a positive statement for clean, attractive leisure areas? Participate in the Adopt-a-Park Program. Facilitate the monitoring, clean-up and enhancement of parks, natural lands, trails and trail heads maintained by Seminole County. The Adopt-a-Park Program is a one-year commitment with a 3-4 hour per month minimum volunteer time — there aren't any separate Adopt-a-Park cleanup events.

Activities include trash pick-up, weeding and raking playground and landscape areas, sweeping shelters, cleaning picnic tables, mulching trees and shrubs, trail blazing and reporting graffiti or vandalism. Adopters also assist with special projects such as graffiti cover up, painting and light landscaping.
