Maitland Conservatory of Music

The Maitland Conservatory of Music(formerly the Suzuki Music Institute of Central Florida) not only provides private lessons for piano and violin, but also builds student self-confidence and the ability to perform. While we strive to develop self-discipline, we approach teaching through the philosophy of Dr. Suzuki who valued love and kindness.

Music is like a language which we use to communicate in a way in which words are unable. As we learn a language through listening, speaking, reading and writing, we believe the best way to learn music is through listening, playing, note reading and composing music. Our adaptation of Dr. Suzuki’s “mother-tongue” approach, enables students to reach their full potential.
