Sylvan Lake Park is a large park that has a playground, 18 station par course fitness trail, horse shoe pits, a fishing pier, 8 pavilions, and picnic areas.

There are also:

* 4 racquet ball courts
* 6 soccer/multipurpose fields (4 are lighted for night)
