We're expanding the Art Experience!
The Folk and Urban Art Festival will be held at the Hannibal Square Heritage Center and at Shady Park directly acrosse the street!
We have some returning and new Visual Artists and Live Music happening in Shady Park directly across from the Heritage Center!
The line up includes, Jamican born Reggae Artist Jeffery Mykals,
Singer Songwriter Joanna Tress and Winter Park Resident, "The Dynamic Tony T"! just to mention a few!
Jeff Rogers will be doing a pottery wheel demonstration at the Heritage Center; free hands-on-children art activity!
Are you smarter than a Historian?
Black History Trivia begins at 2:00 Grab some of your smart friends and join in on the fun as we learn history together!
Community Partner K2 Medical Research will be on site with the mobile unit for free screenings! (non-invasive)
Parents I'm so excited to announce the launch of our new children's program-- Hannibal's Trek: Let's Go Trekking For Art in Shady Park!
Hannibal's Trek is a interactive activity for students of all ages, safe for students who use wheelchairs, and students who enjoy discovering ARTifacts of a person, place or time period special to the Hannibal Square community!
Hannibal's Trek will be led by Youth Docents who have successfully completed the Youth Docent Program created and facilitiated by Heritage Center Manager Barbara Chandler.
