We’re pump-kin up the fun for October!
Pumpkinology at the #CityLibrary is back. Kids ages 5 to 12 are invited to join this patron-favorite series of free events that promise a fun and festive experience. Visit us each Wednesday from 4 to 5 p.m. for STEM-inspired fun with us.
First Session: Pumpkin Wind Chimes | Oct. 7th
Create gourd-geous wind chime pumpkins that sound like music to the ears.
Second Session: Pumpkin Decorating & Slime Time | Oct 14th
Blend colorful creativity with gooey fun. Give a pumpkin a fresh coat of personality and ease the mind by making slime.
Third Session: Pumpkin Clocks | Oct 21st
Inspired by the potato battery experiment, swap spuds for pumpkins to demonstrate how everyday foods can generate a small electric current.
Fourth Session: Pumpkin Volcanoes | Oct 28th
Experience an explosion of fun with a pumpkin volcano science experiment. Plus, decorate a pumpkin bookmark to celebrate the fall season.
