Legendary performer Pitbull of Blues will headline the 13th annual craft Beer and Blues Festival on Saturday, Nov. 8, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lake Concord Park, sponsored by the City of Casselberry and the Orange Blossom Blues Society.
Led by dynamic front man, Josh "The Pitbull of Blues" Rowand, this high energy Florida band has been on the prowl for many years. The Pitbull of Blues Band is a regular on the festival circuit, known for their fun-loving mix of traditional and original blues.
The lead-in will be the Josh Miller Blues Revue, featuring Shaun Rounds. Miller, who has been a major player on the Brevard County music scene, has toured internationally and recently laid tracks for legendary artist Selwyn Birchwood’s “Old School” album. Rounds has played as part of the B.B. King’s Blues Bar band for many years and has developed into a powerhouse himself.
The event, also honoring veterans since it’s Veterans Day Weekend, will have music, food trucks, art exhibits and vendors. The event also will highlight some of the best craft beers available.
Disabled parking and drop-off is next to the Casselberry Art House (127 Quail Pond Circle) and the front of the former Casselberry Police Department (4195 S US Hwy 17-92). General parking is located in surrounding lots.
