Homeschool families can experience various interactive programs at the Zoo, where the classroom comes to life! Up-close animal encounters, games, crafts, and activities are all part of this exciting learning environment.
Ages 5-8 years
Calls in the Wild
Wouldn’t it be fun to chat with a cheetah or talk with a tiger? Listen and learn how animals communicate with each other.
Ages 9-13 years
Natures X-Men: Animal Mutations
What strange and unusual adaptations are lurking in the animal kingdom? We’ll seek out special animal mutations that can be used to hunt, hide and survive.

Students must be registered for the appropriate age group. Registration is required at least one week in advance. Class size is limited. Classes are subject to cancellation if the minimum number of students is not met one week before the program date. Refunds will not be provided for self-initiated cancellation once registration and payment have been processed.
