The City Library is hosting seriously fun, free activities during Spring Break week. Each day offers a different activity with everything from arts and crafts to stories and games!
Kids ages 5 - 14 are invited to join us from 1 - 3 p.m.
Teen and tween events for those ages 11 - 17 will be held from 4 - 5 p.m.
Monday, March 18
Art Day | Librarians will help you design and create your own painting. No drawing or painting experience necessary.
Tuesday, March 19
Science of Laughter | Celebrate “Let’s Laugh Day” by learning about things that make us laugh. Together, we’ll design our own comic strips and create crafts sure to get a giggle out of everyone!
Wednesday, March 20
World Storytelling Day | We’re hosting a special storytime to celebrate World Storytelling Day. Guests will make mini-books and bookmarks after we read “The Book with No Pictures.” Story begins at1 p.m. with crafts/activities beginning at 1:20 p.m.
Thursday, March 21
Taco ‘Bout a Good Time | It’s National Crunchy Taco Day! We’re celebrating with some taco-riffic books and crafts that won’t be too cheesy or leave you breathing fire! (Can you guess which book we’ll be reading?) Story begins at 1 p.m. with crafts/activities beginning at 1:20 p.m.
Friday, March 22
Game Day | Games and friendly competitions await you! Our game collection includes Operation Perfection, Giant Jenga, checkers, Uno, Candy Land and others that will delight everyone!
