Homeschool Day at A&H: Valentine's Outdoor Sketching in the Garden

Homeschool families (grades K-8) are invited to a Valentine's Day themed walking tour and outdoor sketching art workshop in garden.
Celebrate Valentine's Day at this special Homeschool Day at A&H: - Historic Architecture Tour & Outdoor Sketching Art Workshop

Families are invited to wear red or pink as you step into the fantastical world of artist and architect Jules Andre' Smith at the Art & History Museums in Maitland. Hear stories of friendship and become inspired on a mini tour of our campus built nearly100 years ago as an artist colony!

After the tour we will have a hands-on sketching art workshop in our main garden! We'll end our time together with a special Valentine's Day craft and a photo scavenger hunt!

The cost is $10 per child and includes all the art supplies and $5 per chaperone. Afterwards, you’re invited to extend your outing with a picnic lunch right next door at Quinn Strong Park.

Space is limited for students (suggested K - 5, middle school welcome too) and their chaperones. Please note, that this is not a drop off program. Parents will need to stay with their child(ren) throughout the homeschool day, and due to the small capacity of the program, refunds are not available.
