Sanford Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade and Festival in the Park

The City of Sanford Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Steering Committee, Inc. proudly presents the 39th Annual Celebration and Memorial Observance.

This year’s theme is “Honoring the Legacy, Inspiring the Future.”

We invite you to join us in celebrating the lives and contributions of our pioneers, whose path we now walk, while passing the torch to the younger generation to carry the mission forward. Over four days during the Dr. King holiday weekend, we will host five events to keep Dr. King's dream alive. We would be grateful for your support in making these events a success and continuing to keep his dream alive.

Various events will begin starting January 16th and conclude with the annual parade and Festival on the 20th. Check the website to see all the details!
