Get Hook'd on Lake Monroe Fishing Tournament (January)
Come join us on Saturday, January 7th at “Get Hook’d on Lake Monroe Fishing Tournament”. This fishing tournament will feature a variety of seafood, vendors, kids zone and entertainment. A children’s fishing clinic will occur during the festival as well.
Easter Eggstravaganza (March/April)
An egg hunt for children 0-12 with chances to win prizes. Activities including bounce houses, games and vendors will be set up after the egg hunt. The Easter Bunny will arrive on a Fire Truck to start the hunt and take photos.
Memorial Day Parade & Remembrance Ceremony (May)
Sanford will roll around the Red, White and Blue to salute and thank the countless veterans that have paid the ultimate price to secure our freedom. A parade and exciting morning of activities in Historic Downtown Sanford.
Star Spangled Sanford (July)
An Independence Day celebration with live music, food and drink vendors, playground and splashpad open and a spectacular fireworks display along the Riverwalk.
National Night Out (October)
National Night Out is designed to strengthen neighborhood relationships, promote effective community partnerships with law enforcement, and reinforce crime prevention efforts throughout our communities. A free celebration including dinner, vendors, Police and rescue teams, k-9 demonstrations and more.
Light Up Sanford (December)
The City of Sanford will have live performers as they light-up downtown Sanford with the Tree Lighting.
Parade of Lights (December):
Illuminated floats, festive fun, and holiday cheer.
Jingle Jam (December)

Festivities include LIVE MUSIC on 3 Stages, Holiday Vendors, Carnival Games, A Magic Show, Pictures with Santa, 15+ Gourmet Food Trucks, LIVE Wrestling Acts & much more!
Holiday Tour of Homes Saturday (December)
A walking tour featuring beautifully decorated homes and porches bordering Myrtle and Elm Avenue. George Touhy Park will also be beautifully decorated, with a variety of vendors selling holiday treats and items and carolers, from surrounding schools and churches, serenading their guests.
