

Johns Lake Conservation Area (JLCA) is a popular area in the central west portion of the County. It has inviting, shady picnic areas, a covered picnic pavilion, and a short, seasonally wet hiking trail leading you to Johns Lake’s shoreline. JLCA has diverse wildlife and native plants to discover along the trail. A favorite property for birders, this conservation area is home to bird species such as Osprey, Tricolored Heron, and White Ibis.
