Lukas Nursery Butterfly Encounter

Our year round butterfly and bird conservatory offers a one-of-a-kind experience, where one can mingle among the most beautiful "flying flowers", cheerfully chirping exotic finches, and Chinese button quail. Even experience the chance to feed butterflies from your finger tips!

As butterflies are "solar powered" , needing to attain a body temperature over 80 degrees before taking flight, their activity is highest during sunny, warm days. Peak season is April through September.

Guided tours are available Monday – Friday. Tours begin at 10am. A minimum of 15 paid admission for group tours. Tour educational level taught is recommended for ages 5 and up. Reservations should be made as soon as possible or at least 1 week in advance.
