Kaliegh's Dream Foundation was created in 2013 to honor our 19 year-old daughter, sister, grand-daughter, cousin and friend that died in a tragic car accident. Kaliegh Ottis was a 2012 graduate of Lake Mary HS near Orlando, Florida and had just completed her freshman year at the University of Central Florida. She was a proud member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority at UCF. The Foundation is recognized as a non-profit public charity 501(c)(3) by the IRS.
It is the goal of the Foundation to help make the dreams of young women and men come to fruition by providing scholarships/grants to help them reach their goal of earning a college degree. Kaliegh had a "SPARKLE" about her. One of her favorite sayings was, "Don't Let Anyone Ever Dull Your Sparkle". We try to look for that "SPARKLE" in each recipient. Currently we provide support to cheerleaders at Lake Mary High School, we started an endowment with the ADPi Foundation that provides scholarships to the young ladies of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority at the University of Central Florida and in 2023 in a partnership with the UCF Foundation we started another endowment for the UCF Cheer Team. We also support the Ronald McDonald House of Central Florida, a cause that was very close to Kaliegh's heart, as well as providing grants through our local church so students can attend various camps for Free. As the Foundation grows we hope to expand our scholarship and grant footprint to many more.
