Bearwood Academy

Bearwood Academy is proud to call Casselberry its home. We are a family run preschool glad to welcome students into our family. At Bearwood Academy your child will feel safe, happy, and at home as we will create a nurturing and fun learning environment.

Bearwood Academy provides a theme based, learn through play, and group learning educational program. Our world revolves around the children always keeping their best interest in mind. Bearwood Academy’s Director and teacher has been in education since 2005 and brings a lot of experience in working with children and families. We wanted to come to Casselberry in order to help families returning to work seeking for a warm, welcoming, family friendly environment find the right preschool for their child.

Tutoring
Our tutoring program is for students trying to get ahead or catch up on skills in Reading and Math at the elementary level. Students will learn using SRA's Reading Mastery Program as well as Steck-Vaughn's Math program. Children will receive instruction based on their individual needs and can sign up for either reading, math, or both. I have extensive experience with Individualized Education Plans and can help students reach their goals. Parents can chose to have their students attend an individual session or a small group session. Both have their benefits as students can learn a lot from their peers as well!
