SUMMARY:Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival 
LOCATION:Central Park & along Park Avenue Winter Park, Florida
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:The Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival is one of the nation’s oldest, larges
 t and most prestigious outdoor art festivals. The festival debuted in March
  1960 as a community project to bring local artists and art lovers together
 . It’s produced by an all-volunteer board and draws up to 250,000 visitors 
 each year. More than 1000 artists from around the world applied for this ye
 ar’s event. An independent panel of three judges select the artists that wi
 ll exhibit their works.<br /><br />Girls and boys can create their own artw
 ork at the Children’s Workshop.  Easel painting is very popular, and local 
 art centers and museums feature a variety of fun, hands-on art activities f
 or children. Admission is free and participants may take home their artisti
 c creations. The Children’s Workshop hours are 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Friday, 
 Saturday and Sunday. Easel painting is from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday an
 d Sunday.<br /><br />LEON THEODORE SCHOOLS EXHIBIT<br />The place to discov
 er the talented artists of the next generation is at the Leon Theodore Scho
 ols Exhibit where artwork by thousands of Orange County students is on disp
 lay. The creativity and level of expertise displayed by these young artists
  will delight and amaze you. Be sure to check out this wonderful exhibit.<b
 r />Exhibit Tents are open FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, 9AM-5PM and SUNDAY, 9AM-3:3
 0PM.<br /><br />In addition, each of our museum and community partners has 
 exciting hands-on arts and crafts activities on all three days from 10 a.m.
