SUMMARY:Free Earth Day Family Day at Art and History Museums of Maitland
LOCATION:231 W. Packwood Ave., Maitland, FL 32751
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Get ready to celebrate Earth Day with a family art workshop, craft stations
, face painting, scavenger hunt and free admission to 3 museums!\n\nFamilie
s are invited to celebrate our "home sweet home" at A&H's FREE Earth Day Fa
mily Day PLUS Printed Tote Bag Family Art Workshop where children can play
with colors and patterns while using paint to "print" their own tote bags w
ith recycled objects! This art project is inspired by A & H’s founder, Jule
s Andre’ Smith - a master printmaker who loved experimenting with art, and
we can’t think of anything more fun for Earth Day than creating reusable ar
t with recycled materials!\n\nWe'll have other Earth Day inspired craft sta
tions too, plus coloring and still life tables! Families can also explore o
ur campus, originally built as an artist colony almost 100 years ago, with
an Earth Day themed scavenger hunt. There will be other surprises too - lik
e face painting and complimentary admission to three museums!\n\nOur family
art workshop is recommended for children ages 4 and over, and under 4 with
  parental help!
