SUMMARY:Artist Talk, Experience Contemporary - Myth and Storytelling
LOCATION:Casselberry Art Center, 137 Quail Pond Circle, Casselberry, FL 32707
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Want to gain a deeper insight into the artists inspirations, processes, and
 intentions in their artwork?

Join us for a special artist talk
with three of the four artists featured in Experience Contemporary (Myth a
nd Storytelling) at the Casselberry Arts Center on November 7 at 7PM. Boy K
ong, Emily Martinez, and Tom Rosenow will be here to talk about their work
on display. They will share their stories and answer questions from the aud
ience.

Experience Contemporary (Myth and Storytelling) illumina
tes our human need to tell stories, create myths, and extract meaning from
our experiences. The work on display contains elements of myth and storytel
ling in the artists use of hero characters, world building, archetypal them
es, and symbols. We all have our own unique stories to share and interpret
as we see fit. This exhibition is intended to highlight just how ubiquitous
this meaning making is in our everyday lives, how stories guide us, and th
e agency we each have to define and redefine our own stories.
