SUMMARY:Art and History Museum Homeschool Day at the Telephone Museum

DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:We're ringing in a lot of fun at A&H's Homeschool Day with history, interac
 tive technology and a hands on art workshop.\n\nHomeschool families are inv
 ited to step back into time as we explore communications technology and the
  history of the telephone at A&H’s Telephone Museum. In our interactive gui
 ded tour, children will see the switching station, hands-on displays and di
 scover the story of the Winter Park Telephone Company, founded in Maitland 
 Florida by Carl Galloway.\n\nAfterwards, join our education team as we comb
 ine art and technology! We’ll first learn about two important art concepts 
 - lines and space, and then use this information to create 3D art sculpture
 s featuring vintage telephone wires. Sculptures will be ready to take home 
 at the conclusion of the program!\n\nThe cost is $10 per child and includes
  all the art supplies, and adults are $5 each (suggested grade range K-5, m
 iddle school students are welcome too). Please note, that this is not a dro
 p off program. Parents will need to stay with their child(ren) throughout t
 he homeschool day, and due to the small capacity of the program, refunds ar
 e not available.
