Join us for STORMPREP LIVE!!, a high-energy, family-friendly event designed to help you get ready for hurricane season—without the stress. Hosted by the City of Lake Mary in partnership with Seminole County, this interactive community event brings together local experts and partners to share preparedness tips, tools, and resources in a fun, festive environment.
What to expect:
Enjoy a “hurricane party” atmosphere with music, food, kid-friendly games, and activities for all ages. Explore interactive booths with tips to protect your home, family, pets, and property, along with live demonstrations on hurricane safety and readiness.
Highlights include special guest appearances from local TV and weather personalities, raffles and giveaways (including a generator), a “Touch-a-Truck” display featuring emergency and storm response vehicles, a hurricane wind simulator, Special Needs Registry information, on-site pet adoptions, and free hurricane-themed drink cups while supplies last.
Whether you’re new to the area or a longtime Floridian, STORMPREP LIVE!! will provide practical tools, helpful resources, and peace of mind—while making preparedness fun for the whole family.
