City of Maitland Bike Safety Day and Trail Ride

The Maitland Bike Safety Day and Trail Ride – a free family event - will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Maitland Community Park, 1400 Mayo Ave.
Come early for the community bike ride along Maitland’s East-West Trail. The ride begins at 9 a.m. Participants will get a commemorative event medal. A mini trail ride for kids will be available around the park.
Other activities begin at 10 a.m. including a police bike safety rodeo, free bike helmets with fittings, safety demonstrations, an inflatable trike track for adults and kids, a bounce house, games and prizes, displays and more.
This event is open to bicycles and microbility e-bikes, e-scooters and other electric rides. A bike parking area will be available.
