Maitland Police and Maitland Farmer's Market Free Backpack Event

Need a little help getting ready for the new school year?
Maitland police officers will be at the Farmer's Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Sunday on Independence Lane to hand out free school backpacks to children.
Stroll dozens of vendors for local produce and products, crafts, plants, flowers, food and more. Set the kids loose for games on the lawn and a bounce house.
Enjoy live music and grab something to eat from downtown businesses like Houndstooth Kitchen and Eatery, Brewlando Brewing, Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream, Boku Sushi and Parea Greek Taverna.
Parking is available off of Packwood Avenue and Horatio Avenue.
