1000 Books Before Kindergarten

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

The Library encourages families to participate in this national challenge! The goal is to read 1000 books to your child before your little one starts Kindergarten (repeat reads are just fine). Keep track of the books that are read to your child, and bring your book log to the Library. Show your book log to a librarian, and your child receives a sticker for every 100 books read. When you reach 1000 books, your child will receive a small prize, a completion certificate, and will be featured in the Library’s 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Hall of Fame.
