Longwood Annual Events

Mustang and Ford Roundup (February): More than 300 entries of Mustangs through the years. Food Vendors, Vendor Booths, Face Painting, Door Prizes, pet rescue, Police and Fire Displays, K9 Demonstrations and more.

Community Health Fair (March or April): Citizens of all ages are welcomed to join the city to experience vendors, raffle prizes, bingo, and a number of fun and family friendly activities.
Upon visiting exhibitors, attendees will be able to participate in chair massages, free health screenings, and will have access to exclusive, event-only offers provided by the participating companies.

National Night Out (October): A community building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live

Monster Dash 5k (October): Halloween themed 5k in the heart of Historic Longwood.

Trunk or Treat (October): Trunk or treating with a variety of trucks and other vehicles.

Arts and Crafts Festival (November): Held in Historic District Longwood, 200 West Warren Avenue, the annual Longwood Arts and Craft Festival features 200 artists and handcraft exhibitors selling unique items, fine jewelry and seasonal decor just in time for visitors to get a jump on the holiday shopping season while supporting local artists and handcrafted.
There will be festival food, beer, cocktails, wine tasting, and live entertainment.

Ceilidh in the Park (November): St. Andrews Society presents the Annual Scottish Heritage Event. There is food, music, dance and other performances.

Chili Cook-Off (November)

Celebrate the Season (December): Holiday street party wil deasture an array of activities indcluding the Tree Lighting Ceremony, live music, dance performances, ice skating, pony rides, food, shopping and a laser light show.

Christmas Parade (December): The City of Longwood will host the annual Christmas Parade through Longwood by way of Ronald Reagan Blvd., north of SR 434. The parade will feature stunning cars, seasonal characters, bands and much more!

Santa Visits Longwood (December): Santa will visit Longwood. His routes are within City Limits and will end however long it takes to finish each area. The Longwood Police Department will assist Santa in his travels!
