Loaves & Fishes

Loaves & Fishes is so blessed to currently have 107 loving volunteers. Although we currently do not have any volunteer openings inside the building, here are some other volunteer opportunities that would make a great impact to needy families in our community. Volunteer requirement letter available upon request.

Food Drive - Have your family/organization/Girl & Boy Scout groups collect food in your neighborhood, church, school, or as an "entrance fee" to your birthday/event party (i.e. Super ("Souper - bring a can of soup")Bowl Sunday.)

Toiletry Collection - Shampoo, deodorant, body wash, soap, toothpaste, tooth brushes, razors, pine cleaner, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponges, and toilet paper. We may take these items for granted since they are a necessity, but to others these items are considered a luxury.

Household Items - Blankets, sheets, towels, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, and small appliances. Have your friends and neighbors clean out their linen closets and pantries. If you haven't used these items in six months, give it to someone who would.

BOGO(Buy One Get One) Free - Check your local grocery ads for the Buy One Get One Free items featured each week. You buy one for your family and give the free item to a family in need. This doesn't cost you anything!!
